It's rich and well made but doesn't stand out in any way. I don't get leather or tobacco as much as I get citrus and anise.
The projection is really moderate, don't expect People to smell you from a distance of 5 to 10 meters..
Armani Code by Giorgio Armani is a Oriental Spicy fragrance for men. Armani Code was created by Antoine Lie, Antoine Maisondieu and Clement Gavarry.
Top notes are bergamot and lemon; middle notes are star anise, olive blossom and guaiac wood; base notes are leather, tobacco and tonka bean.
I think it mostly smells like bergamot, and the muskier notes contribute a suede-like texture rather than a heavy leather smell. Armani Code smells sporty and fresh, but elegant enough to be worn in most situations. Got a new bottle at Macy’s and to my surprise the performance is week. I’m planning to give away to a family member AC is one of the first fragrances I purchased and it saddens me deeply to know that it has been watered down and stripped of its original essence and quality.
The tobacco is present in the base and reminds me of Coqui Coqui's fresh smelling Tabaco. I still have an empty bottle of the first one I bought and the scent on the cap is still stronger than the one I bought recently. If you really have the Money to buy Armani Code you may do it...
